Referral equity program
The formula
You earn 10% of the referred athlete's equity stake as a bonus allocation from our 3% ambassador pool. Proportional, simple, scales naturally with check size. Bigger intro = bigger reward.
The guardrails
Max 0.10% per referral and 0.50% total per athlete. This protects the 3% pool across all ambassadors as the circle scales to 30+ athletes, ensuring the incentive stays meaningful for everyone.

How the referral program works
The formula
10% of the referred athlete's equity stake
When an athlete you introduce invests in RALLY, you receive 10% of their equity position as a bonus from our ambassador pool. Their $100k check = 0.50% equity = you earn 0.05% on top of your own stake. Simple, proportional, automatic.
The guardrails
Two caps protect the pool
Per referral: max 0.10% bonus regardless of check size. Applies when referred check exceeds $200k.
Per athlete: max 0.50% total referral bonus. Reached after approximately 5 referrals at $100k avg. Protects pool fairness across the full circle.
The pool
3% reserved. Designed to scale.
At 10% rate, 30 referrals at $100k average burns only 1.5% of the pool — leaving 1.5% in reserve. The program can support 15 founding athletes each making 2-3 intros without exhausting the pool.

FAQ
When do I receive my referral equity?
Your bonus allocation is confirmed once the referred athlete signs their SAFE agreement and the investment is received. It vests on the same schedule as your primary equity — 3 years, monthly, with a 1-year cliff.
Do I need to pitch RALLY to the athletes I refer?
No. A warm introduction is all we ask — one message saying you're involved and they should take a look. We handle the full conversation, the materials, and the SAFE docs. You make the intro, we do the rest.
What happens if I refer someone and they invest in a later round?
The referral bonus applies only to investments made at the current SAFE terms (Founding Athlete Circle). Athletes who invest at Series A or later do not trigger the referral pool — another reason to move fast and bring your network in now.
Is there a limit to how many athletes I can refer?
No limit on introductions. The cap is on the equity bonus — max 0.10% per referral and max 0.50% total referral equity per ambassador. You can make as many intros as you like; the first 5 at $100k are what maximise your pool allocation.
What types of athletes are you looking for?
Sport agnostic — MMA, basketball, football, rugby, tennis, any discipline. What matters is cultural fit and genuine belief in the project. Athletes who are active on social, lifestyle-oriented, and connected in the US market are the highest-value referrals.
What is the SAFE structure exactly?
SAFE stands for Simple Agreement for Future Equity — the standard early-stage investment vehicle used by Y Combinator companies. Your $50k–$250k converts to equity at Series A at a 50% discount to the Series A valuation. Pre-money cap: $20M. Series A target: $40M pre-money. No interest, no maturity date, no repayment. Clean and simple.
